Huon Funerals was founded in 1977 by David Thomasson, who previously had a background in French polishing. The business was sold to Millingtons Funerals in the late 1980’s. David continued serving the Huon community and worked tirelessly for Huon Funerals until health issues saw him retire in late 2017. He maintained a passionate interest in Huon Funerals and continued to reside on premises until his death in May 2019.
